History
The Church on Warren Avenue has had a long and glorious history here in this small neighborhood of Federal Hill. It started off in the late 1800's as Lee Street Baptist Church located over on, you guessed it, Lee Street. In 1910, the church moved to its new home at 113 Warren Avenue. The Lee Memorial Baptist Church is now simply referred to as "the Church on Warren Ave."
In 2006 the church set out on a new mission to serve the community. Today in 2008, almost 154 years in the making, The Church on Warren Avenue is very active in seeking to be an asset to the community.
